  1. 💜Casa vs. Alternatives

Option #3: Commercial Systems

Casa is not the only company to offer sovereign storage systems for cryptocurrency, but we do aim to provide the highest level of usability, control and security for personal and small team self-custody. We pride ourselves on having a highly experienced team and the most extensively tested security model in the market.

Please be careful and do your research. As this product category grows there may emerge companies that claim to provide sovereignty and security to users similar to Casa, but who don’t live up to their promises. Remember – if the product is free, then you are likely the product.

The remainder of this document will discuss the principles, design decisions, and security considerations that go into the Casa system, our flagship key management and self-custody service for individuals and teams.
